A little history about Liquid Sports

Corporate History

The Ghana Athletics Association is responsible for the development and promotion of athletics in Ghana. Ghana has won several laurels on the international stage ever since gaining independence from the British in 1956. GAA's has adopted a policy of revitalizing athletics in Ghana by encouraging the young ones to take an interest in the sport. The current Association led by Prof. Francis Dodoo, has staged many competitions in the country since their election in 2010. The country's first international track and field event, the rlg Ghana Grand Prix, was staged in 2011 and 2012. The Association plans to continue with its youth focused programmes in the coming years to get Ghana athletics where it belongs.

GAA and Just Because Fitness sign partnership agreement

The Ghana Athletics Association and Just Because Fitness (JBF), a Ghanaian sports promotion group, sign an agreement






The Ghana Athletics Association and Just Because Fitness (JBF), a Ghanaian sports promotion group, have signed an agreement for JBF to partner the GAA to stage a number of domestic athletic competitions in 2018, and to support four promising national athletes through a program dubbed “Sporting Chance.”


The partnership brings together one of the biggest sports brands in Ghana and JBF, who have established a reputation for providing key interventions that bring about a positive change to the lives of sports teams and individuals.
